Dear Members of the 55PGA,

After one of the mildest winters in Toronto, welcome back to another year of fun, activities, trips, socials, dances and much more from now until the end of 2010.

The term of the Executive committee, headed by Rudy Fernandes was up. A new team with me as President was nominated and elected by acclamation as there were no other nominees.

A little bit about myself. I have lived in Canada for 32+ years. My wife, who is also my best friend and me have been married for 37 years, have one son, one daughter and one beautiful granddaughter. I operate my own business.

I have worked extensively with other Associations serving our community and felt the time was now to serve the 55PGA for the next two years.

Thank you to the outgoing committee. All the socials, dances, cultural events, trips, communications to members were excellent. Our objective is to at least match it.

The New Horizons Seniors Program, a brain child of Rudy Fernandes, and implemented by Juliet Rebello, Al Mathias, Alban Mascarenhas and the subcommittee was the highlight of 2009. Congrats to all.
